Our Story

I was once a little human who wanted to close the gap in her teeth. I thought beauty lived in correction. Then I saw it in the smiles of my Caribbean family, radiant and unbothered, full of life. What I tried to erase returned to me as inheritance, something I could claim. As the founder of Respect The Gap, I create from that remembering. Each velvet, silk-lined piece is a sensual tribute, honoring the beauty that travels through us, across water, across time, in every smile that knows itself.
